A few behind-the-scenes improvements have been made to keep Meadow running smoothly:

• AI metadata generation during ingest can now process items using an AI agent in batches, making the overall ingest workflow more efficient. AI ingests currently limited to users with the new "supermanager" role as we develop the feature.
• Re-indexing has been optimized to skip unnecessary processing steps, so reindexing collections will complete faster.
• Search and filtering on controlled term fields has been improved, allowing for more flexible matching when browsing or searching metadata.
• Release notes like these will now be automatically shared to Microsoft Teams so staff are notified of updates as they happen.

A few behind-the-scenes improvements have been made to search and indexing in this release:

• Subject labels are now included when searching across all controlled vocabulary fields, making it easier to find items by subject.
• Controlled term label fields now support more precise text matching, which improves search accuracy for terms with complex or multi-word labels.
• Reindexing content no longer triggers the embedding pipeline unnecessarily, making reindex operations faster and more efficient.
• The underlying clustering support for AI-assisted features has been updated, improving reliability for those workflows.
