This PR would address issue #39. Currently there are a number of functions and properties that do not follow standard Python convention, so these cases are renamed. In addition, the config file information has been moved and simplified to avoid the confusion of importing multiple config files.
Incorporating this PR would likely require a major version update, as the name of several functions are changed.
