UPoutchi App Version 1.0 Patch Notes

1. Enhanced Task Dashboard Responsiveness

The charts and dropdown menus in the task dashboard are now responsive which means it reflects real data from your history.

2. Task Sorting Options

You can now effortlessly organize your tasks using various sorting options. Choose to view tasks specifically scheduled for today, tomorrow, pending tasks, overdue tasks, or completed tasks.

3. Simplified Task Scheduling with DateTime Picker

We've added a convenient DateTime Picker to streamline the process of setting due dates and times for your tasks. With this addition, you can now effortlessly schedule your tasks and allocate them to the most appropriate time slots.

4. Visual Representation of Task Priority

We understand the importance of prioritizing your tasks effectively. To make this process more intuitive, UPoutchi now visually represents task priorities using different colors. This feature allows you to instantly identify and focus on tasks based on their respective priorities.

5. Resetting Focus Timer

After completing a focus session, the timer now automatically resets to the default duration of 25 minutes. This improvement ensures a consistent and efficient workflow, allowing you to dive into your tasks with renewed focus and energy.

Patch Notes:

1. [Delete Confirmation]: Added a prompt to verify deleting a task.
2. [Checkboxes]: Added checkboxes for each task, making it easier to track progress.
3. [Tags]: Added tags to task creation, making it easier to organize and filter tasks.
4. [Priorities]: Added priorities to task creation, making it easier to prioritize tasks.
5. [Focus Sessions]: The timer pop-up now has its own screen called "Focus Sessions," providing a dedicated space for users to focus on their work.
6. [Default Timer Length]: The default time of the timer is now set to 25 minutes, the recommended length for a Pomodoro session.
7. [In-Game Rewards]: An in-game item is rewarded after finishing or exiting a focus session, and after completing a task, providing motivation to stay on track.

Sprint 3

Patch Notes:

1. [Revamped home screen]: The home screen has been updated to provide more information about your pet's status. The inventory and health bars have been added, along with other indicators to help you keep track of your pet's needs. You can now see how much food, toys, and other items you have in your inventory, as well as your pet's overall health and happiness levels.
2. [Focus session task timer]: We've added a new task timer feature that allows you to focus on your tasks without getting distracted. The timer has play, pause, and exit functions, and is set in the standard Pomodoro duration.
3. [Updated task settings]: We've added a due date option to the task settings, so you can set a deadline for your tasks and stay on track with your goals.

Sprint 2

We are excited to announce a new update to the app, which includes several enhancements and features.

Patch notes:

1. Sign-up alerts and verifications: We have added alerts and verifications to the sign-up process to ensure that all input parameters are valid. This means that soon-to-be users will be notified immediately if there are any issues with their sign-up information, allowing them to correct them promptly and start using the app without delay.
2. Improved log-in account verification: We have updated the log-in process to use Firebase for more secure and reliable user account verification. Only properly signed-up accounts can access the app from now on.
3. Enhanced Schedule panel: We have added new calendar view options to the Schedule panel, including weekly and daily views. Currently, only the monthly view is functional.
4. Task Dashboard page: We have added a new Task Dashboard page where users can see all their task completion and history in one place. Currently, the page contains only dummy data, with a functional drop-down option for choosing the view (daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly).
5. Updated Tasks panel: We have added new functionality to the Tasks panel, allowing users to add and delete tasks with ease.

We believe that these improvements and features will enhance the overall user experience with UPoutchi.
