The mapping mode is deprecated now, I'm not quite sure if it is already not working on our version of the elasticsearchexporter or something else is taking precedence.

I updated the tests by removing mapping.mode from the configuration and updating the field the tests query in ES.

This makes the test pass, but I'm not sure whether we want this change in behaviour.
