The Department of Clinical Research is an umbrella organisation between the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Bern and the University Hospitals, including Inselspital and Universitäre Psychiatrische Dienste (UPD), that facilitates and professionalises clinical and translational research partnerships. Our specialized divisions offer support to researchers throughout the entire research lifecycle, supporting projects from conception to dissemination of results. We offer tailored educational programs and events on all topics relating to clinical research, empowering researchers and students with the tools needed to conduct impactful and streamlined studies. Central to our mission is a commitment to having the patient at the centre of all that we do, reinforcing that their voices are integral to our research efforts.
