Where can I find RTOFS data?

Following 2 options:

1. Via NODD at the S3 bucket which has past year or so - current date.
2. If data from many past years (that is not beyond what is available at the S3 bucket), then one can try the NESCC HPSS with the needed credentials; details are following.

On the NESCC HPSS, the path to:

• Restarts can be found at: /NCEPPROD/hpssprod/runhistory/rh{yyyy}/{yyyymm}/{yyyymmdd}/com_rtofs_{version}_rtofs.{yyyymmdd}.restart.tar One needs to know the version number of RTOFS for any date (yyyymmdd). For that use this information.
• Other files such as the following, can be found at: dir=/NCEPPROD/5year/hpssprod/runhistory/rh{yyyy}/{yyyymm}/{yyyymmdd}/.
  • Observations (after quality control): ${dir}/com_rtofs_{version}_rtofs.{yyyymmdd}.ncoda.tar.
  • Background and analysis states: ${dir}/com_rtofs_{version}_rtofs.{yyyymmdd}.ncodavar.tar.
  • Forecasts and nowcast files:
    • Ocean: ${dd}/com_rtofs_{version}_rtofs.{yyyymmdd}.ab.tar.
    • Sea ice: /NCEPPROD/1year/hpssprod/runhistory/rh{yyyy}/{yyyymm}/{yyyymmdd}/com_rtofs_{version}_rtofs.{yyyymmdd}.nc.tar; note the shorter (1-year) retention period.
