How about using a release tarball instead? There is https://sourceforge.net/projects/asio/files/asio/1.36.0%20%28Stable%29/asio-1.36.0.tar.bz2

Yes, I didn't realize it was just shipping headers so it might not be a good fit for Yggdrasil.
