I'm curious what was your header-line-format? Are you using some other dired package which sets it to something? If it's for example already a string maybe we want to turn it into a list and append our data as well? I'm not sure what the context of the bug is here. |

I have it set to a string containing brief descriptions of the contents of registers, which actually I guess I usually don't need to see in dired mode. Perhaps make it an option to overwrite, append or leave alone? |
