Steps to Reproduce
- Enable git-bridge with GIT_BRIDGE_ENABLED=true
- Use of "Go to code location in PDF" and "Go to PDF location in code" even on small/medium sized projects is very slow
- Disable git-bridge with GIT_BRIDGE_ENABLED=false
- Use of "Go to code location in PDF" and "Go to PDF location in code" even on small/medium sized projects is near instant
Expected Behaviour
near instant results even with GIT_BRIDGE_ENABLED=true
Observed Behaviour
Use of "Go to code location in PDF" and "Go to PDF location in code" even on small/medium sized projects is very slow.

Could this be related to SyncTeX ? But why just by disabling Git Integration the problem disappears ?
The VM (under Proxmox) running this instance has 16GB RAM and 8 cores (Intel(R) Xeon(R) Gold 6442Y)
