On quit music still plays

Oh, maybe not a bug - as it does quit if you have the option ticked to quit XMMS2 on quit.

I think it might be surprising to new users though, I wonder promoe should have some UX to confirm people actually want this on first startup (or first quit).

Perhaps in absence of any preference: if promoe was the one to start the music daemon it should also stop it by default on quit.

Yeah this is by design. XMMS2 will often have multiple clients running, so you don't want it to stop when one client exits. I suppose the real solution would be to check if any clients are connected and if Promoe is the only one, then it's ok to terminate on exit, if Promoe started it. But still, that would be undesirable behaviour for some, so I'm not sure there's any solution that would keep everyone happy, other than perhaps a new preference where users could choose to have xmms2d exit upon Promoe exit if they wanted to.
