Unable to start in 4k@120Hz w/HDR, but able to switch after login.

• Device: Macbook Pro M3 Tahoe 26.3.1
• Display: LG B4 48" Oled
• Connector: CableMatters 201310 with Spyder VMM7100 which allows 120hz on mac over USB-C.

I am using the macbook in clamshell mode, when the mac wakes up, it starts at 4k@30Hz w/HDR, once I login, I can go to BetterDisplay to manually change the refresh rate to 120Hz, and it works beautifully, but I have to do this everytime I login or wake my mac from sleep. I tried setting configuration protections however it doesn't seem to apply every time.

Is there a way to fix this?

Is the output 3840x2160 LoDPI?
