[Bug] Display turns off when iPhone/Watch leaves, but media does not pause #168

Description

Device & System**

  • Device: Mac mini (Apple Silicon)
  • macOS: 26.1 (Tahoe)
  • External monitor: LG 4K (USB-C → DP)

Problem: Media does not pause when BLEUnlock triggers screen-off
When my iPhone / Apple Watch moves away from the Mac and BLEUnlock triggers a lock event, the monitor turns off correctly (screen-off), but system media playback continues.

This is not normal auto-sleep — this is BLEUnlock detecting that I left and actively locking the Mac.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Play any media (Music app / Safari YouTube / Infuse , etc.)
  2. Walk away with my iPhone or Apple Watch.
  3. BLEUnlock detects the distance, locks the Mac, and the screen turns off.
  4. Media keeps playing in the background.

Expected
When BLEUnlock locks the Mac and turns off the screen due to user leaving,
system media should pause automatically.

Actual
Media continues playing even though BLEUnlock has locked the Mac and the screen is off.

Additional notes

This behavior appeared only after updating macOS to 26.x (Tahoe).
Before this version, BLEUnlock correctly paused playback when I left with my Watch.
