The benchmarking study hasn't been refreshed in a long time. It also brings soft dependencies (e.g. ggplot2 and patchwork) that have recently been a bit fiddly to get installed at compatible versions on oldrel-4. I'm not sure exactly what I will do (just refresh? convert to article?), but it's definitely time for some housekeeping.
