Unexpected behaviour with element-by-class filter

Hello,

I am trying to match the large image on this page ( https://www.eclassical.com/dailydeal ) using element-by-class: "card-specialoffer". However, after some experimentation it seems like it only matches the entire class specifier on the div, including the space at the end. Is this the desired behavior? This isn't clear from the documentation here ( https://urlwatch.readthedocs.io/en/latest/filters.html#built-in-filters ). Is there some way I can get my desired behavior with the default filters?

Have you tried with the css filter? The element-by-class filter was there first, but we since have the jq and css filters that provide a more standard and featureful way of querying the DOM tree:

filter:
  - css:
      selector: .card-specialoffer

This might need an improvement in the documentation. Can you check first if the css filter works better for your use case here?

This works for one of my filters! Unfortunately it looks like it doesn't respect html comments, while element-by-class does. Is this expected? Another of my pages has some html comments that I wouldn't want included even though they otherwise match.

Yeah, it's this page: https://www.prometheussymphony.org/rehearsals . Using css: .entry-content has different results from element-by-class: entry-content.
