Hi, I'm Przemek, a software developer building open-source tools for macOS.

I created MicGuard, a lightweight menubar app that stops Bluetooth devices like AirPods from hijacking your default microphone. If you've ever jumped on a call only to realize macOS silently switched your mic, that's exactly the problem MicGuard solves.

MicGuard is free and always will be. But distributing it properly on macOS requires an Apple Developer Program membership for code signing and notarization. Without it, users get "unidentified developer" warnings, Gatekeeper blocks the app, and Homebrew installs require extra workarounds.

Your sponsorship directly funds signing and notarizing my apps so they just work out of the box, whether installed via Homebrew or the Mac App Store. Every contribution gets us closer to that goal.
