Hello,
I would like to create tag with tag propagation in terraform.
In the documentation, it is said that the tag propagation was introduced recently ( May, 14th, 2025 ) so not supported yet.
I would not go for the workaround proposed as I will have to modify my code again, once supported.
This is preventing us to deploy this amazing feature in our system.

Hey @olivierdet. Thanks for reaching out to us.

We don't have a timeline for adding native support for this feature. It requires a breaking change on our end because of the allowed_values field. For now, we recommend using snowflake_execute, to be able to use tags propagation.

We want to discuss within a few weeks all potential changes we plan in the next major release; maybe we will be able to implement some half-measure for tags propagation earlier (however, you are probably not interested in it if you are concerned about the subsequent code changes).
