I have lots of images where the file modified timestamp is set to the capture time but the actual image does not have embedded capture time metadata, e.g. slide scans. I also have lots images captured by funky photo apps (waxface filter apps) that do not have embedded capture dates, but the file modified date is at least when the camera captured the image.
When I import these images in Immich, they are all missing capture dates, and they show up in the timeline based on the import date.
I know there are lots of discussions around how Immich should handle images with no embedded capture date, but they are all just discussions, there is no actual way to set a default capture date for timeline purposes (as far as I know).
Is it at all possible for immich-go to tell Immich to retain the original created and modified file timestamps?
