Currently, “Action for Obsidian” provides powerful shortcut-based automation and quick capture features, but it requires payment and depends on external apps for advanced integrations. There is no fully free and native way to trigger Obsidian actions via system-wide search like Spotlight on macOS. This makes quick note creation, task capture, and navigation slower than it could be, especially for users who rely heavily on keyboard-driven workflows.

Describe the solution you'd like
I would like a free, open-source alternative (plugin or companion tool) that allows:

• Creating and triggering Obsidian actions via macOS Spotlight Search
• Running predefined shortcuts such as quick note creation, task capture, daily note insertion, and template-based actions
• Deep-linking into specific vaults, notes, or commands directly from Spotlight
• Working fully offline and without paid services

This would allow users to search and trigger Obsidian actions instantly from Spotlight without needing third-party paid automation apps.

• Using Obsidian plugins such as QuickAdd and Templater (these handle internal automation but lack direct Spotlight integration)
• Using Apple Shortcuts with manual scripting (limited integration and less seamless than native Spotlight access)
• Using Alfred or Raycast (paid for full functionality)
• Using other note apps like Logseq or Joplin (they do not provide the same level of Spotlight-triggered automation for Obsidian workflows)
