[FEATURE] Elimination of short calls

Since there’s been a recent update to the software, I assume development is active again – so I thought I’d take the chance to ask once more for a feature I’ve been hoping for.

I’m dealing with loads of very short calls caused by random interference, while at the same time, some legitimate signals are quite weak. Increasing the gain helps catch those weaker ones, but it also boosts interference, which results in even more short calls.

Would it be possible to add a feature that filters out calls shorter than, say, 1 or 2 seconds? That would honestly be a game changer for me – and I imagine it could help a lot of other users as well.

I've added this feature in my fork: yegors#8

When using type=file and split_on_transmission=true you can define a new config param: min_rx_seconds = 2.0

File will only be written if it's higher than the value in the config. Here is an example:
