I managed to greatly reduce apparmor runtime memory by disabling CONFIG_SECURITY_APPARMOR_INTROSPECT_POLICY in 6.18 kernel. This is enabled in arch's kernel. |

6.16
6.17
6.17 with apparmor disabled:
This is Arch Linux, right now I had to remove more than 1k profiles to reduce the ram usage by kernel and 6.17 still consumes more memory than 6.16 (~900MB vs 500MB)
I'm posting this as a heads-up but also in case someone much more capable than me can provide an explanation or report the issue to the kernel
