If you can please add the "Hue" slider where there are Brightness/Contrast/Gamma/Saturation.
Because some palettes fails to select the right color sometimes and if there was this slider it would be so much easier to tweak the result to come up properly.

Just wanted to address this. Otherwise very good tool and from any others, this one is the best ever i could find all over the internet.

2 questions:

• In situations when you would like to have a Hue slider, what sort of palettes are you using? i.e. a built-in/from-file palette OR a reduced palette?

• (in case you' re not aware of this) you can double click on color entries and adjust colors individually, if you think they are wrong. You can also save the result as a custom palette - have you tried this?

Thank you for replying, i mainly need this feature for ordered dithering with lower steps like 0-4.

For question 1: This only occurs when i use palette from file since with built-in i can manage pretty well. Somewhat, the boundaries of colors are not right, like it uses gray instead of light-brown (just an example that is), that does also some mistakes in greens and blue, they somewhat mix themselves wrongly in other colors were there is better matches from the palette. Having a hue slider might be of help in those situations where Brightness, Contrast, Gamma and Saturation don't help.

I tested with Photoshop, changed the hue, imported in Ditherista and it works pretty good. So having it directly would be much better.

For question 2: Yes, but it's the same issue as above. For example, i change the light yellow to be light brown, almost everytime i got gray outputs or other colors selected. The only way i could workaround is saving image from Ditherista, importing the palette in photoshop and change the color directly from the color table in indexed colors because it "replace the color" instead of "guessing the right color" as Ditherista does even if the color is part of the palette.

You could either for 1 add a hue slider (which i think is the better solution) or 2 make it so it "replace" the color while changing in palette by adding a radio button "Guess" and "Replace". Since the color exists in the palette (even if it's a duplicate) it should not guess another one. Perhaps it's part of a calculation in Ditherista or based from the "Variable 2x2" or "Variable 4x4" in color dithering algorithm.
