Set build window to always open in the same window as the build

Is there a setting to make the build command always open in the same window as the build command was run? Normally I have a small dired open on the left side and it always opens the build window in this small window.

I'm not quite getting you. Can you take a screenshot of 1) where the build view shows up and 2) where you want it to show?

From looking at the code quickly it seems you try to figure out if there is a window open above or below the current window and it puts the build window there if so. If not, it will put the window in the same window the build command was run from.

Maybe a way to override determining where to put the window and always put it in the same group as the window with the build. I noticed you don't have a user settings file either.

The "after shot" that you posted seems to be what the plugin is currently doing, right? The "after shot" that I want is what you want the window/build output layout to be, so I can better understand what you want.

The after shot should just show the build window in the right window group (the larger one) instead of the left. Basically, it would just put it in the window where the build command is initiated and not try to figure out a smart location for it. Do you need me to upload this?

Haha, got what you mean, no need to upload, thanks. I'll work on it. But if you shift (drag and drop) the build output to the right window group, and you subsequently run builds, the view stays there (right group) right? It should stay there if you leave the build output view there and switch back to your source code, and if you close the build output view, running a build should cause it to open in the right again.

I had problems with moving the build window before but realized it's the same issue as #19. If bv_enabled is false in the user settings all goes screwy if you try to enable it then for each window. Maybe a user settings file could help this, idk?

Anyways, if I put it back to true I get the behavior you describe. I can move the build window where I desire.
