Required fields become optional when 'exposed' but remains required when 'port'

It seems the rabix tool, in the workflows, when a given parameter (that is defined as required by the underlying tool) is selected as "Exposed", this parameter automatically becomes an optional parameter; but when it is selected as "Port", it retains the required status. Is this a bug?
