Interested in making an open source application launcher based on shell scripts

Hello Exidex, I'm interested in making an open source application launcher based on shell scripts.
I have a nice setup on my mac/linux systems which is a kind of generalized application launcher using terminal.
I'm kind of interested in forking alacritty to suit my purposes, but it seems among other problems, winit doesn't yet support NSPanel.
I'm pretty inexperienced with these kinds of things, I was wondering if I could talk with you a bit?
Do you a method to contact you by?

Not quite sure what is the idea you are trying to implement or how it is related to Gauntlet, but there is a link to Discord server on top of the readme in main repo, feel free to join the server and message me there. Also winit now does support NSPanel on master which i have contributed but it looks like it has not been released yet
