Request: Release 7.8.2 to PyPI

I'm building a Reddit CLI tool (reddit-market-research) and would like to use the selftext parameter for link posts feature that was added in commit 19e8d5c.

Would it be possible to release 7.8.2 to PyPI?

We're not quite ready to release the the next version. Do you have a timeline for your release? We can try and prioritize the remaining planned changes as they're breaking and would require a major release.

Absolutely. Here's what Semver has to say:

A pre-release version indicates that the version is unstable and might not satisfy the intended compatibility requirements as denoted by its associated normal version

If it makes you more comfortable we could call it a beta version, but there's no real difference according to Semver other than how to compare the versions [ref]:
1.0.0-alpha < 1.0.0-alpha.1 < 1.0.0-alpha.beta < 1.0.0-beta < 1.0.0-beta.2 < 1.0.0-beta.11 < 1.0.0-rc.1 < 1.0.0.

Let's release a beta since release candidate is typically known to be essentially the final release aside from any major bug fixes.
