No Main Window Appearing on Mac

The problem

I'm just installing this for the first time on Mac today. When opening the application for the first time, there is no "main window" that's appearing and there doesn't seem to be any way to open the main window from the menus. Most of the menu items are non-functional. The issue seems very similar to this issue I've experienced within the standard app in the past: desktop#17647

The fix within the standard app is simply to quit and reopen the application, but that doesn't appear to work here.

1. Install Mac version.
2. Open the application.
3. Observe that no main window opens and cannot be opened.

Thanks for the heads-up! I'll install a macOS VM and try to reproduce your issue.
However, the problems you are encountering are very strange, because we have other macOS users and nobody has ever encountered a similar bug.

Can you check if you have any logs at ~/Library/Application Support/GitHub Desktop Plus?

I do see a number of files and folders within that directory but there's no "logs" directory like there is within the same folder for the standard Github Desktop app.

I was able to reproduce this bug (or at least a similar one)!
In my case, it was because of an architecture mismatch in keytar (compiled for arm64, running on x86). Are you on x86 (Intel) or on arm64 (Apple Silicon)?
