[Bug] Draging links or bookmarks into TST sidebar does not open the link

Steps to reproduce

1. Start Firefox with a clean profile.
2. Install TST.
3. Open the TST sidebar.
4. Attempt to drag a link from a webpage into the TST sidebar.
5. Attempt to drag a bookmark from the bookmarks bar or bookmarks panel into the TST sidebar.

Expected result

Dragging a link or bookmark into the TST sidebar should open it as a new tab (ideally as a child of the current tab) and place it in the tree at the drop location.

Actual result

Dragging a link or bookmark into the TST sidebar has no effect. The drop is not accepted and no new tab is opened. This behaviour persists after a clean reinstall of the extension on a fresh profile.

Environment

• Platform (OS): Windows 11 Home
• Version of Firefox: 149.0.2 64-bit
• Version (or revision) of Tree Style Tab: 4.3.1

FYI, I had no problems do either and the only difference with my environment was Windows 11 Pro. @piroor will have to weigh in with any ideas of what might be conflicting on your system or logs that might be needed.

Dragging links to the sidebar stopped opening the link for me as well

Platform: macos 26.3.1
Firefox 149.0.2, TST 4.3.1

I am pretty sure I was on 4.2.12 before this happened, as the link dragging broke together with my custom stylesheet (which happened in 4.3.0)

This looks to be fixed with the commit 9991390. Could you try the latest development build?

I can confirm it's fixed in 4.3.2 (c3e301e; I used this build artifact)
