Why does TST only create the tree structure for bookmarks when I don't want, it doesn't when I do?

Hi!
So if I just drag two tabs, I get a folder with them inside. But if I want to bookmark something like a dozen, with branches I don't get anything. So what's the logic behind this?
I pretty much never want an extra folder created with only two tabs in them, but I usually do with bookmarking small branches like that that . In the first case preserving the tree structure is meaningless, but in the second case it would be pretty much useful.

I looked through the settings but I didn't find any that controls this behavior, if there's any.

How did you created bookmarks from tabs on the failure case?

• Drag and drop of tabs?
  • Multiselected with Ctrl/Shift-click? Just dragging a parent tab?
  • Where you drop tabs onto is?
    • The bookmarks toolbar, the bookmarks sidebar, or the browsing library?
    • The blank area or an existing folder?
• "Bookmark Tab" context menu command?
  • Is the context menu opened on the TST sidebar, or the native tab bar?

Here are screen captures of expected (and actual) behaviors on my environment.

I hope to design TST to work with Firefox's native UIs seamlessly, so the case 1 (described with the 1st video) must work.
Is the success case (1st video) exact same to your expected result? (and failed on your environment with same action?)
Please add comments if you dragged different items or dropped to different places.

And I think there is something compatibility problem around TST and Bookmark search plus 2, as described with the 2nd video. I hope to solve this kind incompatibilities with other addons anyway.

Hm. I didn't even think about 2. when I wrote my comment, but yes, that never worked when I tried before.
Usually I either did TST > Library, or normal tabbar > BSP2 (Since there can only be one sidebar). I swear I remember folders sometimes being created in the latter case, usually with multi selected tabs. But now I'm not so sure. I guess I thought TST was watching the bookmarks.

So I should only expect folders created if I drag from TST UI?
So I opt out of folder creation, by holding SHIFT or CTRL on dropping? I just figured this out. It might account for some of the inconsistency that I felt. I probably didn't think to release shift after started dragging.

Shift-drag is required to create bookmarks on my environment due to TST's restriction. Otherwise dragged tabs will be detached from the source window simply, instead of creating bookmarks.

You don't need to press the Shift key, if you choose "Create links or bookmarks from Entire Tree always" for "Drag".

Thanks. There's no detaching here though. I had to disable it a long while ago, it came practically unusable when after a FF update it started detaching tabs when I only wanted to organize.
So by the looks of it can set it to not need shift. I'll try it.

By the way, is it only possible to pre-empt folder creation if I multi-select tabs? I found that holding shift or ctrl only works in this case, when dropping a branch it doesn't.
