Option to change effect on Reverb Slider

I always thought it would be good to have the option to change the effect on the Reverb slider to either a gate or compressor/limiter as this would mean I could DI straight out of my amp or use my mic and cut noise in the the app or provide a limiter without adding latency by using reaper. I often use Jack for windows but when I use Carla it disconnects when I change server so this would be extremely useful. Maybe even the option to choose a LADSPA plugin stored on your machine (audacity uses them) if VST licensing is a problem.
