Latest version no longer works on Python 3.7 #15
Description
I received this report today aboutcode-org/scancode-toolkit#3246 by @dd-jy where the latest release 1.1.0 breaks backward compatibility and no loner works on Python 3.7
The fix could include some of these:
- adjust the code to run on 3.7
- drop support for 3.8 with a major version bummp
