cubemap load - failed to load image

Lately I'm having this error when trying to load a cubemap
[ error ] ofCubeMap :: failed to load image from : "kloppenheim_06_puresky_1k.exr"
using macOS

any ideas @NickHardeman ?

Not sure FreeImage supports EXR
Testing with the nightly on macOS. Using the following code in ofImage.h for checking supported FreeImage formats. Of which, exr is not listed.

The HDR version of the image loaded correctly for me.

ahh ok great.I think maybe apothecary libs were compiled with exr support in the past
I've just recompiled projects to test and noted that.
one OF example (assimp advanced) uses this file kloppenheim_06_puresky_1k.exr and not loading anymore

@dimitre yeah it's come up before on Windows (#7935). Submitted a PR switching over to HDR. (#8349)

@dimitre I think this can be closed because the examples previously using exr have been updated and OpenEXR is not going to be included for this release. (openframeworks/apothecary#528)
Could be moved to a post 0.12.1 milestone / issue about OpenEXR support for FreeImage.
