Mathematically, the 7B should be of higher quality, but I think there's a flaw in the 7B models, which is why their quality is lower. You can check it yourself using the link above; zoom in and compare the images.

Oh, I don't need to check. I see it myself when I use 7B models. The output quality of 7B is consistently lower than that of 3B, and even compared to the quantized models, which should be of lowest quality.

A small discovery that helps recover details. I'm not reinventing the wheel; I'm just trying to contribute something.
Without naxci1's workflow, I would never have thought of it.

@naxci1 I'm curious what your thoughts are on upscaling with another model before SeedVR2.

I use Shutter Encoder for these kinds of tasks because some videos have scaling errors, for example, if they're not 4:3, I correct that, or I do cropping and other operations. I do all of this losslessly in this application; it's both fast and more reliable.
