Representation of the SIM card (I'm using inventory items)

Hey :)
I wanted to know how we can represent SIM cards on a device/interface without using inventory items?
Because, unfortunately, they're going to be phased out. #21943 / #19004

Currently, I use inventory items to do this by linking them to the interface, including for spare SIM cards.

Note that I wasn’t using inventory items for SFP modules, but rather for everything related to a device—antennas (LTE, 5G, GPS), spare modules, etc.

The only solution I see is using the netboxlabs/netbox-custom-objects: NetBox Custom Objects plugin , but there are still too many bugs for production use. :(

I have the same problem. I have tried to create COT, also for eSIM.
My fields:

• device
• module (slot)
• Provider (Circuit section)
• IMEI
• PIN code
  etc.

It is not the best way, but I don't know better.
