Major performance issues occur while and after downloading multiple files at a time or one after another

[Affected Versions]:

• Firefox Reality version 10 RC1 (6db2f60).

[Affected Platforms]:

• Oculus Quest - Android 7.1.1
• HTC Vive Focus - Android 7.1.2
• Pico Neo2 - Android 8.1.0

[Prerequisites]:

• The Firefox Reality browser is open.

[Steps to reproduce]:

1. Navigate to a website with available files for download (ex:https://www.thinkbroadband.com/download).
2. Download multiple files at the same time or one after another (I downloaded 5 files of 10MB).
3. Navigate the browser and observe the behaviour.

[Expected results]:

• The browser is easily navigated and no performance issues are encountered.

[Actual results]:

• The browser is hardly navigated during and after the downloads are finished.

[Notes]:

• The issue is reproducible even if the files are downloaded having pause between downloads (6-7 downloads).
• The performance of the browser is still affected even after restarting the device.
• The performance issues were observed even when exiting the app, affecting the device performance and heating up.
• The performance issues seemed to disappear after I managed to delete the downloaded files.
• Attached are screen recordings of the issue in different situations:
  • Multiple files at a time (small files): link.

I have verified this issue and it's no longer reproducible with the Firefox Reality version 10 RC2 (17a313b). No major performance issues can be observed when downloading multiple files at a time or one after another.

Tested on HTC Vive Focus (Android 7.1.2), Oculus Quest (Android 7.1.1) and Pico Neo 2 (Android - 8.1.0) devices.
