Fail to upgrade from 2.13.3p5 to 2.13.3p6

Hello to Monarc Team,

I tried to upgrade Monarc from 2.13.3p5 to 2.13.3p6 on Ubuntu 24.04, using the dedicated script "UPDATE Ubuntu".

It looks like everything runs ok during the update, however, when I try to access Monarc, I have some pop-ups showing several "error 500" (in attachment).

And none of my accounts work, as if Monarc database was not existing anymore. Previous installation (2.13.3p5) was working flawlessly.

Maybe a clue: during update, I had this message:

In addition to my previous message, there is also this message appearing in Apache error logs:

Hello,
did it finally work for you ?
The error message is related to the wrong database user that was used.
Usually root is only for the initial db setup and the application uses a different login that is specified in the local.php config file.

Sorry for the delay, but I was waiting for a next update.

So, it failed again when I tried to update from 2.13.3p5 to 2.13.4 (error 500,...), and managed to make it work by doing following steps:

• Copied "local.php" from previous installation to new one, in "./config/autoload/". The file in new install was the default one
• I created the symbolic link "data" in MonarcAppFO-v2.13.4 to "/var/lib/monarc/fo-data". There was a "data" folder, but no symbolic link, so the web server could not find cache and other folders.
• reapplied the access rights (www-data, etc.) to Monarc folder

You are right this part was missing in the update instructions.
There was a recent contribution from a community member and I today merged a PR with the detail:

after the # Copy existing configuration to the new release. line.

I just got a look on the updated procedure, and it seems all good ;-)
