New Failure: ImportError: cannot import name '_objc' from partially initialized module 'objc' (most likely due to a circular import)

Started sometime after installing the most recent zowie update. Have reinstalled with same result.

macOS 13.5.2
Python 3.9.6
zowie 1.3.0 for Python 3.9

Zowie fails to start, gives traceback with error:

ImportError: cannot import name '_objc' from partially initialized module 'objc' (most likely due to a circular import) (/Users/username/.shiv/zowie_31546c4ecd8bf8e4b3cad617a60dd581617524d69e1487d41d9aeb4e1df8ddb0/site-packages/objc/__init__.py)

This looks like one of the packages that Zowie depends on may have been updated. I'll try to track it down but it will probably take another week before I can get to this. Sorry!

Hi - zowie sounds like an amazing programme, and I've gotten to installing it, but when I use it, I am getting the above message. Am I doing something wrong? Also, Happy New Year!

Hi - recognise that this is the New Year and you're likely taking a break, but I've been trying to set up Zotero with Devonthink and run into this bug when trying to use Zowie. Any help would be appreciated.
