Meraki config backups reached API limit

Hi everyone,
we use the scripts provided here for Meraki's configuration backup. We run this once a week using a Docker container. Now we're having trouble with a larger Meraki organization. Unfortunately, the backup script doesn't restrict/limit the number of requests to the Meraki Cloud. I read online that there's a rate limit of 10 requests per second: https://developer.cisco.com/meraki/api-v1/rate-limit/#per-organization.

Have others experienced similar problems?

It would be great if this could be incorporated into the backup script :)

faced same issue, I used Semaphore from asyncio librabry to limit the API calls and this worked.

User configurable constants

API_LIMIT = asyncio.Semaphore(4) # Concurrent API calls (4)

Asynchronous function to make REST API call
