which board to use for an ESP32 NodeMCU Dev Kit C

hi, I was wondering which available release (if any) would work for a remote UDP sender firmware to use on a NodeMCU devkitC?
This is to be used with YaSolR. For this, I got the "default" (YaSolR-v1.0.0-rc13-oss-esp32-en.OTA.bin), which seems to work, but I see no equivalent here.

hi,
yes because the app is not linked to yasolr: you just have to get it there, flash it and one. It will send through udp on the network the jsy data for anyone who listens, yasolr included.

so if you want someday to make an arduino program that needs your grid info, you can have then by listening to UDP packets, as shown in the listener example.

So you just need to pick the latest udp sender released here: https://github.com/mathieucarbou/MycilaJSY/releases

I got that indeed, my question was more which compatible release/board to pick? I have a NodeMCU devkitC. As I said in my initial message, I used the default esp32 in the YaSolR project, but in this project I see no such thing

ah! any esp32 board with 2 cores should be fine.
if you look at the https://github.com/mathieucarbou/MycilaJSY/releases, all the tested variants are deployed with a firmware ready to be flashed and you can see a default mapping for them here: https://github.com/mathieucarbou/MycilaJSY/tree/main/examples/RemoteUDP#wiring
