Bug description

I have the following shortcuts defined:

  • Super+W -> Show the window selection screen
  • Super+S -> Show the workspace selection screen
  • Super+D -> Show desktop

With Cinnamon 6.4.13, one could hold down super and hit the subsequent key twice to show and then hide the defined screen. For example:

  1. Hit Super+W and keep Super held down. This should show the window selection screen.
  2. With Super still held down, hit W again. This should hide the window selection screen.

In Cinnamon 6.6.2, this no longer works for Super+W and Super+S as defined above. One has to release Super and then hit Super again to hide the screen.

However, Super+D still works as expected.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Define Super+W -> Show the window selection screen.
  2. Hit Super+W and keep Super held down. This should show the window selection screen.
  3. With Super still held down, hit W again. This should hide the window selection screen.

Expected behavior

One should be able to hold down Super and use the second key to toggle the defined screen.
