It'd be nice to have a lexicon definition for a blog posts. It should have the same fields as perhaps:

• Jekyll
• Ghost
• Hugo

Hi! I replied in the linked Leaflet issue, wanted to chime in here as well.

We're doing something fairly different with Leaflet vs. WhiteWind (block editor vs plain markdown), and there are other approaches that'd likely diverge from ours as well, e.g. with many of the more site-builder frameworks content can be extended with arbitrary templating, components, etc.

So I don't think one lexicon for longform content is likely, but a small set would be ideal! With Leaflet we're aiming for something more like Ghost or Substack or Notion, with rich text as well as lots of other block types.

I think it's reasonable to aim for Leaflet to support the major block types and metadata found in platforms like Substack/Ghost, or at least similar enough that it'd be easy to migrate. And it'd be great to share a common lexicon with other aptroto apps who may be going in that direction as well.

Tools for converting between lexicons (e.g. WhiteWind --> Leaflet) is also an interesting direction and something where we've started to see some community interest.

I agree with the need for a common lexicon that at least has the most basic features both leaflet and whitewind are missing: tags, categories, nav links... And honestly don't know how but I think it should be scalable for custom ones.

There could be an agreement for both kind of lexicons (markdown vs. blocks) even if they are not exactly interoperable, but there's definitely a niche to fill there.
