Batcher UI locks up when trying to change to pixels for Scale unit.

What went wrong?
Batcher completely locks up when trying to change scale behavior from % to pixels. I click on the % dropdown, and the whole batcher interface stops responding for a couple minutes.

What should be the expected behavior?
I should be able to click the dropdown to change % to pixels, but nothing happens

If you can, specify the steps to reproduce the problem.
Click Batch Convert
Click Scale
Edit Scale
Click %

Configuration

Version of Batcher: 1.1.1
Version of GIMP: 3.0.6
Operating system: Linux Mint
Installer: GIMP is flatpak, I installed the plugin manually.

I happened to hit my scroll wheel when I was trying this again, and the scroll wheel changed the value when the mouse was over the dropdown. Still can't click to change it, but the scroll wheel does it. Strange.

Hi, thanks for the report. I can't seem to reproduce this, though. I'll need more information to narrow down the problem:

• Does this occur when you turn off automatic update of the preview (above the preview, press the drop-down button and uncheck Update automatically)?
• Does this occur for any image? If the delay is caused only by some specific images, can you upload one of them here (as a file if possible, not as an embedded image in a reply)?
• What actions are you using and which values for the Scale action did you use? A file with saved settings (via Settings -> Save Settings to File...) would be ideal. Theoretically, the pixels or percentages in the Scale action could result in an immensely huge image that GIMP would have a hard time processing.

@cyber-shifter @ze77nico It's quite possible that this was a bug in GIMP fixed in 3.2, and particularly for Linux Mint: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gimp/-/issues/12910

Can you try upgrading to GIMP 3.2 and see if the issue persists?
