Strong A Sound TTS #2684

Hi, I am trying to use text to speech to generate location names, such as "42 A 1". I have tried kokoro, kitten, and matcha TTS, but they all produce a soft A sound like "ahh" instead of "AYE". Is there a way to tell the engines to produces a strong A sound? Thank you! |

Just to follow up on this, I was able to get it to work in my application by adding more spaces between the words, such as "42[space][space]A[space][space]1". I suspect adding the spaces appears to inform the text to phoneme generator that it should use a strong A because of being at the beginning of a sentence. |
