BUG: Inference Server Error #79

Describe the bug
I downloaded rc3 in June 2025, tried it out but then moved on to other things. Yesterday, I deleted that version of Sidekick (by dragging the app to the trash and then deleting it from the trash) and downloaded rc17. When I opened the new version, instead of the "Welcome to Sidekick" splash screen that the Getting started guide suggests I should have seen, I got straight to the chat input screen. I tried an initial 'Hi' prompt, but just got an alert saying 'Inference Server error...Could not connect to server'. This happens whichever model I choose.
Expected behavior
A response from the model, or at least a useful error message about what to do to connect to the server.
