4s delay before input can be sorted

any ways to maintain functionality while bringing the 4 seconds down to a smaller number?

A while ago I spent some time working on a rust implementation for this exact reason. Initial prototypes are super fast and promising. I hope to spend some more focused time working on it soon.

Hearing that people actually use the tool is motivating for me to work on it again. If you don't hear from me in a month please nag me about it again.

i actually tried AI slop to implement it in rust, and failed horribly before posting this feature request.. hehe

i use it many times every day. its great.
