[Chrome] upon chrome start, join-device.html sometimes gives error 404

Since about a month, half of the time I open Chrome from a cold start, the tab that join opens to authorize the device will stay open, going into the console I get an error 404 for the page "join-device.html", below you can see the error. It is not DNS issues otherwise the authorize page itself will not load.

The strange thing is that sometimes it works, others no.
(There is also a google warning about the deprecation of a Google authentication library.)

Thanks for the report. Can you clarify what you mean by "will stay open"? What does it show exactly? Thanks in advance!

Obviously now it never occured again, but anyway:

Usually when I start Chrome from a cold boot, I get a new tab open briefly then closes, the "authorize.html" tab, when the issue occurs the tab will open (in addition to the home tab of chrome) and stays open with no content, just white page, and the error above in the console.
