Can I Join This to a Cluster With Intel Nodes?

per the title, we don't have any proxmox nodes at the moment (we run VMware) but if we wanted to migrate everything to proxmox and set up a cluster using the standard versions of the software, could we also join proxmox on arm64 to the cluster, or would we need to run that as a separate cluster?
