I have no objection to add it, but let's wait for the opinion of other persons. |

The absorbed fusion power (if this is meant by the instantaneous fusion power including slowing down) would be interesting quantity for the fusion power control and burn control, assuming that the alpha slowing down time will have an order of second. |

It does seem odd to me that summary IDS has no place for the total instantaneous fusion power. If I read the definitions correctly,
fusion/poweris actually for the alpha heating (after slowing down, to be made explicit?). I know it can be derived from the neutron rates, but I would have expected total fusion power to be a primary quantity of interesthttps://imas-data-dictionary.readthedocs.io/en/latest/generated/ids/summary.html#summary-fusion-power
Because of slowing down, the total fusion power is not exactly
fusion/power+fusion/neutron_power_totalI also find the node name to be misleading, but in general I am against these kind of breaking changes and elsewhere advocated against DDv5.
