Robustness on loss connection or down validator

The example dapp complete breaks (and the wallet gateway) if you connect to a validator and then turns it off.

we should have better connectivity handling here. 


Steps to replicate:
1. start canton & start all
2. connect wallet gateway and login
3. turn canton off
