[On iPhone] Map does not hand off to google maps

Clicking the "Directions" link on the map does not hand off correctly resulting in an "Unsupported Link" error

Describe your environment

iPhone 6S with ios11 installed using Safari and linking to the Google maps app

Steps to Reproduce

1. Find shelter on map
2. Click Directions

Expected Behavior

Directions link should give driving directions to shelter

Current Behavior

Pop up link "Unsupported link"
