Thanks for attacking this and bringing the topic into the HL7 CH.

I can understand that at the moment all monetary aspects are not in the focus, but I think sooner or later we would have to add prices and tariff informations.

There are however, some important aspects that we probably should already add now on the level of the item element, from the 5.0 schema https://www.forum-datenaustausch.ch/fileadmin/fda_documents/5.0/Rechnungen/XML-Schemas/generalInvoiceRequest_500.zip

• professionals: not only the responsible but also the provider of a service
• session i.e. grouping services by visit # within the same day
• referenced code, for services that are only understandable in the context of the 'other' ie referred item with the code indicated
• body location
• ICD10 diagnosis for specific items, needed for case-based flat rates (in xmlinvoice 5.0 stored as xtra_service with token ICD10)

sorry, the body location is of course already present in bodySite

I don't know whether using subDetail would be a good way to match the session concept without adding additional members, ie having the individual items as subdetails of an item that corresponds to a session
